Aurangabad, Feb 21:

Public health department has started the recruitment process for 54 posts. The candidates applied for different posts. However, hall tickets for only two posts were allotted for the examination. The exams will be held in different cities. Hence many students will have to skip the examination.

The health department's published an advertisement in 2019. Several aspirants applied for different posts. After the suspension of Maratha reservation, the state government allowed such students to change categories.

Some students have applied under EWS category. However, the state government distributed hall tickets to all such students for the examination for only two posts. The exam will be held in two sessions. However, many students have received an exam centre in a different city for the session exam and a different centre in another city for the second session exam. Hence students will miss their examinations.

Government must change the decision

Political activist Vinod Patil demanded that the government should reveal whether it would provide any travel arrangement to those students to move from one district to another within an hour. The government should immediately distribute revised hall tickets and provide the centers in the district of the student's choice. The students are already in dismay. He urged the state government to immediately reverse the decision as it would further complicate matters, said Patil.
