CSMC standing committee meeting to discuss important proposals

The municipal corporation’s standing committee meeting will be held tomorrow (April 13), at 11.30 am in the administrative hall at the civic headquarters.

The meeting will be chaired by the committee chairman Anil Makariye, where proposals related to various development works and tenders are expected to be approved by the administration. A proposal for providing nutritious meals to balwadi students will also be placed for approval.

Key proposals on the agenda include finalising a tender worth Rs 34 lakh for road construction at Golwadi, a proposal stating there will be no increase in property tax, and approval for the construction of a gate at Mukundwadi for Rs 33 lakh.

Other proposals include Rs 49 lakh for development of a garden in Vidyanagar, Rs 68 lakh for setting up a 500 KV substation at the Divisional Sports Complex, and approval for repair and 10-year operation of the sewage treatment plant near Dr Salim Ali Lake at a cost of Rs 4.02 crore.

Additional proposals include Rs 19 lakh for a cement road at Rauza Baugh, Rs 38 lakh for gallery and related works at Siddharth Garden swimming pool, and Rs 23 lakh for installation of signboards across the city.

For providing nutritious meals to school students, proposals of Rs 70.40 lakh each have been submitted for Annamrit Foundation and Savitribai Phule women self-help group for a one-year period.
