Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

The issue of parking is becoming increasingly serious in the city. Two-wheeler and four-wheeler owners often face inconvenience when deciding where to park their vehicles. The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) has once again expressed its intention to implement the 'Pay and Park' system at certain locations in the city. For this purpose, civic officials will probably conduct a study tour of the 'Pay and Park' system in Mumbai in April.

The CSMC administrator G Sreekanth has instructed that the 'Pay and Park' system be introduced in the city. This responsibility has been entrusted to deputy commissioner Aparna Thete. She is currently occupied with property tax and water tax collection work. Therefore, the officials' study tour to Mumbai is likely to happen in April.

Two years ago, the municipal corporation conducted a trial of the 'Pay and Park' system on seven roads in the city with the help of private agencies. However, it did not receive much response from the citizens.
