The Divisional Commissioner’s Office here has secured second rank in Maharashtra under the state government’s ‘150 Days e-Governance Reform Programme’ on Saturday.
At a ceremony in Mumbai, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis presented a certificate of appreciation to Divisional Commissioner Jitendra Papalkar. The programme assessed district, divisional and state-level offices on seven parameters, including website management, ‘Aaple Sarkar’ services, e-office, dashboards, WhatsApp chatbot, AI, Blockchain and GIS. The evaluation was conducted in two phases, with the final assessment by the Quality Council of India. Officials attributed the achievement to strategic leadership, coordinated teamwork and effective use of technology, which enhanced transparency, efficiency and citizen-centric service delivery. Papalkar said the administration will continue adopting modern tools to ensure faster and more accessible public services.
