Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Education Department has announced the schedule of the Baseline Test for school students under the Periodical Assessment Test (PAT) for the academic year 2024-24. The students of standard third to ninth will take the baseline test between July 10 and 12.

The PAT which is based on the last year's learning outcome, comprises one baseline test and two comprehensive assessments. The students of Government, local self-governing bodies and private-aided will attempt the baseline test which is based on first language, Mathematics and third language (English). It will help to learn whether the students achieved the required learning or not

Objective of test

The objectives of the test are as follows;

--To monitor and enhance the academic achievement and achievement of the students.

-- The test will help to make the teaching and learning process easy.

-- To assist in increasing the State’s education percentage in the National Achievement Survey (NAS).

--To help in preparing an action plan for students who lag studies.

-- To understand the educational status of the State in terms of standard and subject-wise studies.

The schedule of the comprehensive test is as follows;

--Comprehensive test session I ( first week of October or November)

--Comprehensive test session II (first week of March or April)
