What is the case?

The university conducted the PET for PhD admission in 2021. An exemption is given from PET to those who clear an M.Phil. Asma Khan submitted her M.Phil degree in English and Maqsood Khan submitted his M.Phil degree in Hindi from Dr D Y Patil University, Pune to the university to get an exemption from PET.
