Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

The President of the Udyog Kranti Udyojak Sangh, Suresh Fulare, warned the Maharashtra Industries Development Corporation (MIDC) executive engineer of launching a movement if the water supply management is not streamlined in the industrial area, on Monday. He mentioned that no further development work should be carried out unless all institutions are provided with adequate water supply.

MIDC administration has provided water connections to Cidco, Mhada, and several grampanchayats, but Cidco is not receiving an adequate quantity of water. Citizens were supposed to get water every eight days, but now even after 15 days, they haven't received any water. In the grampanchayat area, no industry is receiving water from the grampanchayat. Water is needed for drinking, but water for other uses is also essential. Living without water for 15 days is unbearable; this issue is very serious.

Therefore, the administration should not allow further development work unless all institutions receive sufficient water supply. People should not be exploited under the guise of providing facilities. Taking money without providing services is exploitation. Suresh Fulare warned the executive engineer of MIDC that no new connections should be given to any institution unless sufficient and uninterrupted water supply is provided to all existing institutions. Otherwise, a strong movement will be launched, he stressed.
