A fire near Delhi Gate at the foothills of the fort was swiftly brought under control by the fire brigade, preventing damage to forest resources. This incident occurred on Monday at 1 pm.

An unidentified person discarded a burning cigarette onto dry grass near Delhi Gate, sparking a fire. The flames spread rapidly. Upon receiving information, Daulatabad police officers Rafiq Pathan, Kailas Jadhav, Satish Mahadhankar and others rushed to the scene and attempted to douse the fire. The fire brigade was then called in. Firefighters successfully controlled the blaze within half an hour, averting significant forest damage.
