Aurangabad, April 25:
The hotels are allowed to provide liquor to the customer only through home delivery facilities. The State Excise department has taken action against four persons for serving liquor in the hotels. Nilesh Ambadas Waghalbale (50, Chikalthana) was serving liquor in Ashadeep Hotel in Chikalthana area, Kundlik Narayan Gaikwad (57, Chiktalthana) was serving liquor in a country liquor shop at Naregaon, Krishana Chagan Vanarse (27, Sudarshannaar, Hudco, N-11) at Hotel Surya in Cidco area and Ashok Jaiswal (27, Gevrai – Paiga) was booked for serving liquor at Hotel Captain in Central Naka area. The State Excise squad during inspection found that liquor was being served at these places to the customers. Cases have been registered at Cidco MIDC and Cidco Police station in this regard.
