Aurangabad, May 5:

The City Chowk police on Tuesday booked a man from Pune for sexually exploiting his girlfriend at a lodge in the Aurangabad city, Pune and Mahabaleshwar on the pretext of marrying her. The suspect has been identified as Akash Kondiram Jadhav (30, Kharadi, Pune, native of Indapur Savangi, Khuldabad).

The victim works in a private company here in the city. She met Jadhav in a marriage ceremony of her relative in 2016. They developed friendship and later fell in love with each other. Jadhav had come to the city to meet her and took her to a lodge in the city and sexually exploited her. Later, he took her to Pune and Mahabaleshwar and established physical relations with her.

However, in March, he broke his promise and married another girl. Hence, he started ignoring the victim and did not receive her phone calls either. When the girl came to know about his marriage, she lodged a complaint at the City Chowk police station. PSI Syed Babar is further investigating the case.
