Graduates Must Acquire Skills Along with Knowledge: Dr Pratap Kale

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: “Mark sheets cannot determine the future of your life. Along with knowledge, one must master skills. After completing their degree, students will truly have to face competition. Only 27% of students in India pursue postgraduate education, which is concerning,” said Dr Pratap Kale, Additional Divisional Commissioner.

He was speaking as the chief guest in a degree distribution ceremony organised at Deogiri College on Friday. Trimbakrao Pathrikar, Central Executive Member of the Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, presided over the event.

Dr Pratap Kale encouraged students to explore emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Biotechnology, Space Science, and Management, rather than chasing traditional careers. He urged the graduates to appear for competitive examinations to drive social change.

Acting Principal Dr Ravi Patil, Vice-Principals Dr Aparna Taware and Dr Ganesh Mohite, Controller of Examinations Dr Anilkumar Pardeshi and Registrar Dr Darshana Gandhi were present.
