Aurangabad, Dec 4: A squad of the City Chowk police intercepted a loading rickshaw and seized banned tobacco chewing products, locally known as Gutkha, worth Rs 1.76 lakh in Shahgunj on Thursday midnight.

Two persons Rupesh Narayan Basayye (27, Sanjaynagar) and Chetan Kantilal Sabdara (Deepak Traders) have been booked and Rupesh arrested. According to the police, they received a tip-off about the illegal move and laid a trap in the old trading hub of the city. They intercepted the rickshaw, searched it to find the sacks and packs of pouches of Gutkha at 1.10 am on Friday. A case has been registered in the PS.
