Aurangabad, Feb 22: The Aurangabad branch of the WIRC of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has received the best branch award of Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of the ICAI at regional level for the year 2020-21 under medium category. WIRC includes 36 branches of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa. The WIRC has recognized the good work of the members of the Aurangabad branch for society and profession while organizing virtual seminars and social activities during lockdown period and COVID–19 pandemic, said Aurangabad branch chairman CA Ganesh Shilwant .

The Aurangabad branch of the WICASA, which is students association, also received Commendable Branch award for Student’s Association under Medium Category.

Branch chairman CA Shilwant said, this is a proud moment for the branch and CA members of Aurangabad. WIRC Chairman CA Lalit Bajaj and Aurangabad Branch nominee CA Umesh Sharma congratulated branch chairman CA Ganesh Shilwant, WICASA chairman CA Yogesh Agrawal and entire managing committee of Aurangabad branch for continuing the award winning trend of Aurangabad branch in spite of pandemic situation during the last whole year.
