Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: In an era where efficient supply chain management plays a pivotal role in the success of businesses, the Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM) stands as a beacon of excellence. The IIIM has been at the forefront of imparting knowledge, fostering innovation, and shaping future leaders in the field of materials and supply chain management.

Established in 1983, IIMM has consistently demonstrated its commitment to advancing the profession through education, research, and industry collaboration. With a robust curriculum designed to meet the evolving needs of the industry, IIMM provides aspiring professionals with the tools and knowledge necessary to excel in the dynamic world of supply chain management.

IIMM is the national apex body representing a wide spectrum of professionals engaged in various facets of material management, responsible for purchase, procurement and planning, sourcing, stores, logistics and supply chain management. Through its wide network of 52 branches, IIMM has around 12,000 life members throughout India drawn from public, private and government sectors.

IIMM Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar branch came into existence in June 1980 as a non-metro branch. This is the 44th year of branch and it is the first and only registered non-profitable organisation of materials management in Marathwada region.

IIMM is imparting various postgraduate (PG), graduate, diploma, and certificate courses. PG diplomas in Materials Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management are both recognised by the AICTE. Graduate diploma in Materials Management (GDMM), diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, certificate courses in Stores Management, diploma course in Logistics and Supply Chain Management are the few regular courses to name. IIMM has its Centre for Research in Materials Management in Kolkata in collaboration with Techno India University. The Centre has started functioning as a nodal point for co-ordination and integration of research information in the field of Materials Management. The total activities and exercise are drawn up in the perspective of industries.

IIMM brings out its monthly journal Materials Management Review and is starting a quarterly E-magazine SCM- Pro from the month of December for Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar SCM professionals. Branch E-Magazine SCM–Pro across Industries will cover branch news, articles on SCM trend and techniques, tech talk, interviews, exhibition, product information and advertisement.

Its unwavering commitment to quality, practicality, and innovation positions IIMM as a driving force behind the success of individuals and businesses navigating the intricacies of modern supply chain management.
