Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: “Some countries deported Indians recently. Though, they were taken there by deception through their own agencies. The time has come to create awareness and send back to people who are living in India illegally. After staying here for a long time and earning a livelihood, they are seeking our resources, encroaching on the education, health sector, and housing sector. Not just his, they also started interfering in the election system,” said Jagdeep Dhankhar, Vice President of the country.

He was speaking at the 65th convocation cermeony of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University organised at the main auditorium on Saturday evening. Governor and Chancellor of the universities C P Radhakrishnan. Vice President's wife Sudesh Dhankhar, MP Dr Bhagwat Karad, Vice Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari were seated on the dais.

Pro-VC Dr Walmik Sarwade, Registrar Dr Prashant Amrutkar, Director of the Examination Board Dr Bharati Gawli, and Finance and Accounts Officer Savita Jampawad were also present.

Jagdeep Dhankhar said that the nationalism is more important than individual’s objective in life and all should work in one or another way to contribute to nation building.

He urged the youths to come forward for the progress country and making ‘Swadeshi common and export goods on an international level.

“During the last one decade, our country’s economy grew by leaps and bounds. It is on fifth position from earlier 11th place. Efforts and policies are being restructured to take our economy to third place on the global level. There is a need to increase per capita income up to eight times for this purpose. Facilities like the Internet and online transactions are easily available today. Our country's online transactions are higher than America, France, UK and Germany,” he said.

The Vice President that the Constitution has given rights to every person to practise one’s own religion, but, conversion with force or luring is unacceptable.

He said that the students who were awarded degrees today and would entre the field should know that the learning is lifelong which should not be stopped. “Social harmony is important for the unity in diversity of the country. There is an aim to make India a developed country, but, there are also many challenges. There is a need to have commitment and faith in one’s country,” he added.
