India's first Berlin-style play park inaugurated in city

The city's first Berlin-style play park, boosting the 'Let Us Play' initiative, was inaugurated at Jyoti Nagar by CSN First, in partnership with the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation and AITG Group.
The event was attended by OBC walfare minister Atul Save, national women's commission chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar, mayor Sameer Rajurkar, municipal commissioner Amol Yedge, corporators Shobha Burande, Naveen Oberai, Shilparani Wadkar and Chandrakant Hiwrale, and CSN First President Ritesh Mishra and former presidents Ram Bhogale and Mukund Bhogale. Minister Save stressed regular maintenance for long-term public benefit. Mayor Rajurkar highlighted play's role in children's creativity, fitness, and social development, thanking CSN First for the initiative. NWC chairperson Rahatkar emphasized direct citizen engagement for impactful local-level work. Former President Mukund Bhogale outlined the concept and stakeholder contributions, underlining the city's need for nature-friendly, creativity-driven spaces. President Ritesh Mishra announced plans for similar projects citywide. Shaikh Habib offered the vote of thanks.

Project highlights
Spread across 35,000 sq. ft., the garden features a group swing, log see-saw, zipline, treehouse, climbing wall, musical play equipment, landscaped pathways, seating, and green cover. Designed by Kamal Rao and Landmark Concepts Pvt. Ltd., with Lalit Jadhav as project engineer, it was supported by Grind Master Machines Pvt. Ltd., Ecosatva, Rucha Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Indian Plumbing Association, and the Paint Manufacturers Association.
