Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:
IndiGo’s Saturday night Mumbai–Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar–Mumbai flight was suddenly cancelled, forcing several passengers to travel to Mumbai by road.
The IndiGo flight usually departs from Mumbai at 7.35 pm, arrives in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar at 8.45 pm, and takes off again for Mumbai at 9.15 pm, reaching there by 10.15 pm. However, passengers received messages on Saturday afternoon informing them that the flight had been cancelled.
As a result, passengers who had urgent travel plans to Mumbai had to make last-minute arrangements to go by road. According to IndiGo, the flight was cancelled due to ‘operational reasons.’ Since the message was sent in advance, no passengers turned up at the airport, airport authorities confirmed.
