Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Jain International School achieved a remarkable feat by winning the Champions Trophy in the volleyball tournament organized jointly by the Advocate Sports and Cultural Association and Saraswati Bhuvan Education Society, recently. Over 40 teams across the city participated. The under-14 boys' team secured victory by defeating Podar School's team with a score of 20-6 and claimed the trophy. The girls' team also emerged victorious by defeating their opponents 8-6, securing the first place.

In the under-17 category, the girls' team won the first prize in basketball, while the boys' team secured the second position. Additionally, in the under-17 football matches, both the boys' and girls' teams of the School claimed the first position. Suhani Patel and Hamza Mominuddin excelled.

The city Basketball Association president Ganesh Kad guided the organisers. Players Anish Bhalerao, Samyak Shirase, and Rajveer Pawar recorded good performances.

Manasvi Rathod, Naitik Soni, Aarush Jaibhaye, Sara Rana, Sharayu Hiremath and Tanisha Kakade were honoured with the Emerging Player Award. The Jain School's sports coaches Anikesh Shukla, Ganesh Tupe, and Ashwini Shinde guided the players.
