Aurangabad, Jan 11:

The registration for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Main 2021, the national test for engineering admissions, has begun. Candidates can apply online up to January 16.

This time around, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has given an option for four sessions. Candidates can choose all or anyone and will have to pay fee according, up to January 17.

The first session is in February (22 to 26 ), the second in March (15 to18), third in April (27 to 30) and final in May (24 to 28).

The multiple sessions will give the candidate multiple opportunities to improve their scores in the examination if they cannot give their best in the one attempt. This will reduce the chance of dropping a year. Candidates need not appear in all the four-session. If a candidate appears in more than one session, their best of the score will be considered for the preparation of the merit list. The question paper will contain 90 questions, in which the candidate will have to attempt only 75 questions. The candidates will have a choice for questions in Section-B (numerical).
