Aurangabad, Jan 18: The celebration of Makar Sankranti, the festival of kites, came alive at Winchester International English School, recently. The whole school wore a festive look with kites adoring the corridors and reception of the school. Students narrated how the harvest festival is celebrated in various states. Students and staff had a great time flying their kites. The kite flying competition for the secondary section, the only section allowed to attend physical classes, was organised. School director Dr Afsar Khan wished all and congratulated all the winners. The celebration was a success with the coordination of teaching and non-teaching staff. Necessary precautions were taken to keep social distancing, hand washing and avoiding over crowding.
