Aurangabad, Oct 30:

A man from Kannad has been booked for submitting a forged birth certificate and aadhar card during the Army recruitment drives at Jalgaon and Parbhani districts.

As the Army Recruitment Office noticed about it, Colonel Tarunsingh Bhagwansingh Jamwal lodged a complaint of cheating against Amol Govind Khanbad (Dahegaon, Kanand) at the Cantonment police station.

Many people produce forged documents for gaining jobs in the Army. One such incident was noticed earlier also during the recruitment drive. Amol in 2018 made changes in the birth certificate during the recruitment at Jalgaon and again in 2019 in Parbhani district. Similarly, he made changes in aadhar card and submitted it through the online recruitment process.

A case has been registered at the Cantonment police station while PI Manoj Pagare is further investigating the case.
