Aurangabad, April 18 :

A 32-year-old man was booked with City Chowk Police Station for beating up his wife and uttering talaq three times.

According to details, a housewife asked her husband Shahbaz Ali Khan Maqsood Ali Khan (Naaz Towers, City Chowk) to bring milk in the evening of April 16. However, he returned empty hands and told her that he had no money.

When the woman asked the reason for the unavailability of money, the man got angry. They had quarrelled. He beat up his wife in a fit of rage and uttered the word ‘talaq three times. He also forced his wife to leave the house.

The woman lodged a complaint with City Chowk Police Station against her husband. Police registered a case against Shahbaz.
