Aurangabad, Nov 23:

A man snatched Rs 2,100 from a mother-son duo, going to Barhanpur by bus, and tried to flee away. However, the son chased and nabbed him. The incident occurred at Central Bus Stand on November 22, at around 7.15 am. The accused has been identified as Amer Khan Salim Khan (27, Padegaon). A case has been registered at the Kranti Chowk police station.

Complainant Hansraj Mohan Nandwanshi (Lalmandi, Begumpura) and his mother were going to Barhanpur by bus on Sunday. They arrived at the central bus stand in the morning. The accused came near them and told that he is the conductor of the bus and asked them for ticket. Nandvanshi gave him Rs 2,100 for the ticket, but he tried to escape from the scene. However, Nandvanshi chased and nabbed him. The accused was later handed over the Kranti Chowk police while a case of cheating and theft has been registered against him. The police have seized Rs 2,100 and a mobile phone from Aamer.
