Aurangabad, June 16:

Rotary Club of Aurangabad has selected noted industrialist Mansingh Balasaheb Pawar for this year’s ‘Aurangabad Bhushan Award’ for his contribution in the field of industry and social arena.

The Rotary Club honours a person who has made a remarkable contribution to the city's education, social, industrial and art fields.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Club president Vijay Jaiswal said that the award would be presented to Mansingh Pawar in a programme to be held on June 18.

Sameer Kanadkhedkar, Mukund Sangwikar, Milind Shewalikar and others were present at the briefing.

Only selected people will attend the programme at the venue while others can participate online in the event. A total of 15 prominent personalities of the city, including Laxman Deshpande, Nathrao Neralkar, V V Chiplunkar, Bhujangrao Kulkarni, F M Shinde, Bashar Nawaz, Y M Pathan, Bapusaheb Kaldate, Gangadhar Pantawne, Ram Bhogale, Anil Bhalerao and Mohini Kelkar’ were honoured with the award.
