Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: This year, excessive rainfall and floods severely affected agriculture, causing major crop losses, including marigold. On Wednesday, the city received a large supply of marigold from Jalna, Partur, Jintur, Hingoli, Kannad, and Phulambri. Over 50% of the marigold was damp. In regulated markets, marigold was sold at ₹50–60 per kg, while on the roadside it fetched ₹80–100 per kg.

Even with a large influx of marigold from Ahilyanagar on Dussehra day, prices are unlikely to drop, according to trader Babasaheb Tambe.
