MGM University signs MoU with Ministry of Youth Affairs
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:
MGM University and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the aim of organising the ‘Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025 competition.
District Youth Officer Sankalp Shukla signed the MoU on behalf of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports while Registrar Dr Ashish Gadekar was present on behalf of MGM.
Vice Chancellor Dr Vilas Sapkal, Dean Dr Rekha Shelke, Head of Training and Placement Department Dr Parminder Kaur, Public Relations Officer Shrikant Yerule and others were present.
Speaking on the occasion, VC Dr Vilas Sapkal said, under this agreement, students of MGM University along with students of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Jalna districts were provided the opportunity to participate in the national competition. They can register until March 9. The competition is being held at 3 levels: district, State and national.
In this competition, at the district level screening level, students have to upload a 1-minute video on the My Bharat portal on the question ‘What do you mean by developed India?’. 150 students will be selected for the subsequent competition.
