Aurangabad, Nov 10:

All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) took out a procession in the city on Tuesday to celebrate party candidates victory in Bihar Assembly election.

The party had contested election in 2015 and had won only from Kishanganj Constituency.

This time around, MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi fielded more candidates in Muslim majority areas of Seemanchal. Asaduddin along with MP Imtiaz Jaleel did election campaigning for a month.

A large group of leaders and activists from the city had gone to Bihar for canvassing. The MIM has high hopes of winning many seats in the election. Its candidates have won elections in five constituencies.

There was excitement among party leaders and activists because of victory. The procession led by MP Imtiaz Jaleel was taken out at 7.30 today from Azad Chowk.

Large numbers of activists participated in it. They sprayed green ‘gulal’ and raised slogans. It reached the party’s city office via City Chowk, Nehrubhavan. MP Jaleel guided the activists.
