Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A 15-year-old girl from Kabranagar-Bharatnagar committed suicide by hanging herself as soon as her parents went out to work. The deceased girl has been identified as Laiba Taher Shaikh (15). The incident came to light at 7 pm, on Monday.

Laiba, a school-going girl, lived at Kabranagar-Bharatnagar. She has four sisters and her parents work in private. Her parents had gone out on Monday evening. Laiba locked the door of the house and hanged herself at that time.

This matter came to light after her parents returned home. She was admitted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH)l. However, she had died before the admission. Pundaliknagar police are investigating the reason for her suicide.
