Aurangabad, Nov 6:

The Muslim Numainda Council (MNC) has submitted a memorandum to the President of India through the divisional commissioner to condemn and expressed disappointment against the blasphemous attitude of western countries and the Indian leaders for favouring the irrational approach of French President Emmanuel Macron.

MNC is an apex body of various social, religious and welfare organisations. Hence it staged a symbolic dharna comprising selected office-bearers, in front of the divisional commissionerate, today afternoon. They registered their protest against the mischievous and intentional act against the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The memorandum submitted to the divisional commissioner stated that the entire Muslim world had discerned Macron’s actions as enmity towards Islam and Muslims. The MNC demanded strict implementation of Section 295 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) that criminalises insult to religion; initiate legal action against all the perpetrators of blasphemy against Prophet of Islam ; the Central Government to ban all the French products/commodities as its government has overruled the Indian Constitution and International Laws ; the union Government should immediately withdraw all diplomatic relations with the Government of France and shut down its offices as soon as possible, etc.

The copy of memoranda has also been submitted to our Prime Minister, Home Minister and the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN).

The delegation comprise of MNC (Aurangabad) president Ziauddin Siddiqui, Mehraj Siddiqui, Maulana Shareef Nizami, Maulana Abdul Qavi Falahi, Hafiz Iqbal Ansari, Shaikh Muntajiboddin and others.
