A motorcyclist injured after a dash to his motorcycle by a container near AS Club on Thursday died in a private hospital while undergoing treatment. The deceased has been identified as Popat Asaram Narwade (61, Tanduli, Paithan).
Narwade was going on his motorcycle (MH 15 Q 9930) from Aurangabad towards Waluj. A container (HR 55 R 1531) dashed his motorcycle at around 11.30 am at AS Club square. He was severely injured in the accident and was rushed to a private hospital. He died at around 1.15 pm while undergoing treatment. The container driver fled away from the scene after the accident. A case has been registered at the Waluj MIDC police station while PSI Rajendra Bangar is further investigating the case.
