Need for recruitment of teachers & employees in university: Pro-VC Dr Sarwade
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: “Many have served the university faithfully since its establishment 66 years ago. Highly skilled staff and teachers are retiring. Therefore, it is necessary to recruit in the coming time,” said Dr Walmik Sarwade, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu).
He was speaking in a programme organised on Friday at Bamu to give farewell to retired employees. Registrar Dr Prashant Amrutkar and head of the General Administration Department Dr Kailash Pathrikar were the chief guests.
Dr V V Navarkhele of the Department of Physics, Technical Officer Sanjay Rajput, R B Vankallu (Examination Department) and Khandumama Salunke Laboratory Attendant were felicitated for their services on their retirement.
Dr Sarwade said if one serves honestly, the time after retirement would also be a time of satisfaction. “Around 50 per cent of the university's employees retired, so, recruitment should start,” said Dr Kailash Pathrikar. “The State Government has given permission for teacher recruitment. The recruitment of employees will also start soon,” said Registrar Dr. Prashant Amrutkar.
