A meeting was held on Monday at the Massia office in Waluj between the Baden-Württemberg Education Delegation (Germany) and Massia for skill development. This meeting is expected to greatly enhance opportunities for technology, skill training, and research, thereby increasing industrial collaboration and skill development prospects between the two countries.
The meeting involved an in-depth discussion on increasing cooperation in skill development, industrial training, and technical education. Both the Fact-Finding Mission and Massia agreed to implement various initiatives to provide skill-based education and trained manpower to local industries. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring that students receive industrial training under training programmes and on-the-job training from both sides.
The Baden-Württemberg delegation was represented by Jochen Mann, Sandra Lochmann, Thilo Seltmann, Christoph Rentdorf, Deputy Consul General, along with joint director (DVET) P T Deotale, Massia president Chetan Raut, vice president Arjun Gaikwad, and Manish Agarwal, were present at the event. The Baden-Württemberg delegation emphasized that the Fact-Finding Mission serves as a crucial link between basic education and the private sector.
The event was also attended by joint secretary Ramakant Pulkundwar, treasurer Sarjerao Salunke, joint chief (publicity) Jagdish Joshi, Dushyant Athawale, Abhishek Modani, Dilip Chaudhary, Mangesh Niturkar, Anand Ladda, Rahul Dhamne, and others. The introductory speech was delivered by secretary Rajendra Chaudhary.
