Aurangabad, Nov 5:

The India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has introduced a scheme providing Digital Life Certificate (DLC) at the doorstep to the elderly pensioners, recently.

Under the scheme, the postman will visit your home and make the ageing pensioners'' certificate. He will take a thumb impression through a biometric machine. He will also collect details like pension number, pension pay order (PPO), pension providing office, bank account number, mobile number, Aadhar card number etc. and issue the certificate at your doorstep against affordable service charge.

The citizens and pensioners desirous to avail the facility should contact the IPPB-Head Post Office (Juna Bazaar) and other post offices in Cidco N-7 sector, Mukundwadi, Kushalnagar, Harsul, Satara Locality, Ellora, Kannad, Phulambri and Paithan or dial phone number 0240-2330316 for further details.

The senior superintendent of posts (SSP, Aurangabad Division), G Shivanagaraju, has appealed to all the elderly pensioners to avail benefit of the scheme available at your doorstep in large numbers.
