Aurangabad, Jan 30:

The Cantonment police have booked the Yuvan Co-operative society's officials for selling the plot of society amounting to Rs 39 lakh for just Rs 5.5 lakh at Padegaon area on the basis of the forged documents. The incident occurred in the period between 2013 and 2020.

The accused have been identified as Aziz Shamshoddin Surani, Umed Amulak Moti, Siraj Sher Mohammad Charniya, Abdullaha Shamshoddin Surani, Rafiq Rajabali Hirani and deputy registrar Ambika Zalke.

Complainant Rahim Rafiq Ali Moti is a member of the Yuvan Housing Society. The accused are the officials of the society with the consent of the deputy registrar Zalke passed the forged documents. Later, the plot amounting Rs 38,19,000 to their relatives in just Rs 5,45,100. Rahim when came to know sought information about the plot from the officials but they refused. Hence, he demanded documents of the plot from the deputy registrar office and also lodged a complaint in this regard at the deputy registrar office. A case has also been registered at the Cantonment police station while PSI Sachin Wayal is further investigating the case.
