Old vehicle owners to pay double environmental tax

To curb pollution and promote eco-friendly vehicles, the environmental tax on old vehicles has been doubled from April 1. Vehicles over 15 years require a fitness certificate, with tax payable every five years. Commercial vehicles like trucks, buses, and taxis face higher charges, adding financial pressure on owners and citizens.
