A bike-Fortuner collision near Tisgaon chowk around 7 pm left one person seriously injured in Waluj MIDC area.

Parmeshwar Shinde, riding a bike (MH-20 -GP-7436) from Khawda Vasti, was hit by an oncoming Fortuner (MH-20-CG-7770). He sustained serious injuries and was admitted to a private hospital. The car veered off the road into a pit, and the bike was completely damaged. Waluj MIDC Police arrived promptly and recovered the car using a crane. Meanwhile, the injured man's relatives gathered at the scene, opposing the vehicle’s removal and threatening to set it ablaze. Police constable Yogesh Shelke and former Tisgaon sarpanch Anjan Salve calmed the situation. Both vehicles were taken to the police station. Further investigation is underway.
