Aurangabad, July 21: 'Ashadhi Ekadashi' was celebrated with great zeal at MGM Cloverdale School through a virtual platform. The event commenced with the recitation of ‘Shlokas’ and singing of ‘Bhajans and Abhangas’ by music teachers Shrikant Gosavi, Gajanan Dhumal, Samadhan Ankush and Suraj Shinde. The information on ‘Ashadhi Ekadashi’ was shared by Yuvraj Jagtap who was attired as ‘God Vitthala’. Many parents, teachers and students from different cultural backgrounds came together online and celebrated the with sincere devotion. Principal Dr Sulekha Sharma-Dhage and school mentor Ramesh Thakur encouraged the students to preserve and share our rich cultural values. An online drawing competition was organized. Winners were: 1 - Shravani Kakade, 2 - Sanjana Patni, 3 - Rudra Maharani, consolation prize - Samruddhi Bhale, Suraj Jadhav. School director Dr Aparna Kakkad, deputy director Dr Namrata Jajoo were among those present. Sanjana Patni and Lisha Bobde anchored the programme hosted by Grade X students. Gayatri Choudhary proposed a vote of thanks.
