Aurangabad, Nov 28:

The Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK), which was closed due to the outbreak of Covid-19, is reopening from December 1. The office was closed for the past eight months.

Issuance and various works related to passports were hampered by the closure of the office. Citizens had to rush to Nashik-Mumbai for minor work resulting in financial loss. Despite unlock, the office remained closed. Hence public representatives and citizens demanded to open the passport office. Taking note, Manoj Kumar Rai, regional officer, passport department, Mumbai, announced to start the POPSK in Aurangabad from December 1.
