‘Pharma Anveshan 2025’ hosted in YBCCP
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Y B Chavan College of Pharmacy (YBCCP) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) jointly hosted ‘Pharma Anveshan 2025’ on Thursday celebrating National Pharmacy Education Day on the theme ‘Entrepreneurship and Startups in Pharma and Pharmacy Practice: Encouraging Innovation, Incubation Centers, and Pharmaceutical Startups.”
College principal Dr M H Dehghan emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between academic research and industrial advancements. Dr Sanjay Toshniwal (Central Council member, PCI) was the chief guest for the event.
Dr P Shamkuwar (Principal, Government College of Pharmacy) and Cdr. Anil Save (chairman of Savera Pharmaceuticals) provided insights into policy frameworks supporting pharma entrepreneurship. Zoher Sihorwala (Head, Global Regulatory Affairs), Dr Mayura Kale, Dr Syed Moinuddin (director of Technology Transfer at Wockhardt Ltd) also spoke.
Over 300 students participated in a poster competition on research-driven innovation. Dr Varada Bapat (COO of RV Lifesciences) was the chief guest for the valedictory programme. Dr Nazimuddin Chishti ( GM, Global Regulatory Affairs, Wockhardt Ltd) announced the winners of the poster competition.
