Pharmacy teachers, pharmacists' salaries to be revised: PCI president Patel
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: “The salary fixation of teachers and pharmacists working in various departments will be done. For the attendance of teachers, an Aadhaar-based biometric system will be installed in every institution and monitored through the Pharmacy Council,” said Dr Montu Patel, president of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of Maha APTICON 2025 organised by State branch of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) at Rukmini Hall, MGM Campus on Saturday.

He said that work is underway to develop a national-level web portal to provide employment opportunities to students, and so far, opportunities have been provided to 55 pharmacists.

Coordinator of this conference was Principal Dr Prashant Shamkuwar, co-coordinators Dr Pravin Wakte, Dr Sanjay Toshniwal and Dr Swaroop Lahoti made efforts the success of the conference. More than 800 teachers from State benefited from the conference. APTI- central president Dr Milind Umekar, State APTI president Dr Rakesh Somani and Dr Shirish Jain were also present.
