Aurangabad, Dec 15:

Water has been flowing on the road for the last 4 days due to rupture of water pipeline in old Mondha, Chikalthana and Champa Chowk areas.

The waterline which supplies water to water tank in the Jinsi area, got burst at the old Mondha circle. Thousands of liters of water is flowing from the road into the nullah near Jafar gate. The zonal office of the corporation is at short distance from the leakage. However, the employees have paid no heed to the leakage. Similarly, a water line has started leaking near the district civil hospital in Chikalthana area. The nearby residents have demanded to repair the leakage. A waterline at Champa Chowk also burst last week. The flowing water has filled the potholes. Hence rickshaws, two-wheelers are hitting the potholes and getting damaged. Shopkeepers here said the corporation staff did not turn up to repair the leakage despite complaints.
