Police excavate buried body for investigation

Aurangabad, May 16:

A woman from Navin Kavsan area in Paithan city on Friday and her one and a half years old son died on the same day but the family members did not inform about it to the police and informed only about the missing woman. During investigation, the police came to know that the relatives buried the boy without the knowledge of the police. On suspicion, the police on Sunday excavated the body of the boy and sent to the Government Hospital at post mortem.

Ravi Kasod lives with his wife Vaishnavi at Navin Kavsan at her parent’s house. He had a quarrel with Vaishnavi on Friday and went to his native village at Waghadi. On Saturday, Ravi Kasode with his in-laws went to the lodged a complaint of missing of Vaishanavi.

In the investigation, the police found that their one and half years old son died on the same day when Vaishnavi went on missing. Hence, the police took the buried body of the boy in the presence of Nayab Tehsildar Kamal Manore and sent it for post mortem on Sunday. The action was conducted under the guidance of PI Kishor Pawar by PSI Ramkrishna Sangade, Chotisingh Girase, constable Sudhir Owhal and others.

The police said that the family members told that they do not know how the boy died. When they were searching for Vaishanavi, the boy was in the cradle and when they came back they found the boy dead. They took the boy to a private hospital and the doctors declared him dead after examination, they told the police.
