Aurangabad, Oct 26:

Police feel that recovery agent of a private bank Mantooskumar Anilkumar Singh alias Monty Singh (40), a resident of Peace Home Society, may have been murdered by his friend.

Police have launched a search to arrest his friend, who has been absconding. According to details, Mantooskumar Singh was stabbed to death in the night of October 19 at Peace Home Society of Mitmita. However, the incident came to light on October 21.

There was a dispute between Mantooskumar and his friend over the former’s girlfriend and money. Mantooskumar and his friend went to their homes after drinking liquor at a hotel in Mukundwadi on October 18.

Before this, Mantooskumar dropped his girlfriend to her house. Police called his girlfriend and other friends for enquiry. Police learnt that there more than one reason behind his murder.

Police started the probe into the case taking into account the reasons,One of the suspects is absconding from the date of crime. It was revealed in the enquiry that his friend had disputed with Mantooskumar over the girlfriend.A police team was sent to Pune in search of the suspect.

Police inspector of crime branch Anil Gaikwad said that his arrest would reveal the mystery.Police officers and employees who are investigating the case obtained an audio clip of communication between the deceased and his friend.The audio clip indicates an intense dispute between them.
