Aurangabad, Nov 6:

Pundliknagar police found a missing married woman left home without informing anyone, from Shirdi.

A few days back, a married woman from the Shivajinagar area had gone missing. Her parents and relatives alleged a foul play by her husband and the in-laws and severely beat them. They alleged that the in-laws had done something wrong with her. Tension prevailed after the incident at Shivajinagar, and the police had to deploy strict police bandobast here. Five persons from both the sides were injured and a case was lodged in this regard at the Pundliknagar police station.

API, Ghansham Sonawane said that the police immediately launched a massive search for the missing woman after the incident. It was found that she had gone to her friend at Shirdi. A team led by PSI Meera Chavan went to Shirdi and took the woman in custody on Friday afternoon. She was brought to the Pundliknagar police station in the evening. She informed the police that she had gone to Shirdi to meet her friend. She was later handed over to her parents, Sonawane said.
