Stamp duty collection has reached approximately Rs 539 crore, with 76,000 property documents registered over last 10 months. The government expects a total revenue of around Rs 850 crore from 13 stamp duty offices in the district by March 31. So far, 63.22% of the target has been achieved, amounting to Rs 539 crore.

76,000 documents registered

From April 2024 to February 2025, around 76,000 property transactions have been recorded in the district.

Ready reckoner rates to increase from April 1

From April 1, 2025, ready reckoner rates are set to increase, leading to a rush in property transactions before March 31.

Authorities are working to ensure the revenue target is met by the deadline. Stamp duty offices will remain operational on March 31 for regular transactions.
