Aurangabad, June 14:

The administration of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University will complete the scrutiny of the inspection report of new colleges.

It may be noted that the State Government granted permissions to 65 new colleges in two phases. The inspection committees submitted the report of 40 colleges while the administration is waiting for the report of 23 colleges. The remaining two Law Colleges are yet to submit the permission from Bar Council of Indian, so their inspection is pending.

The reports will be tabled in Board Deans and Management Council meeting to be held soon for the discussions.

Once they approved the report that would be forwarded to the Government for final approval.

It was expected that the scrutiny work would complete before June 15.

The members of inspection committees of 23 colleges are either infected from Covid or are in quarantine because their family members are infected. The members have informed the administration of the delay in the inspection.
