Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

A speeding car rammed into a motorcycle at jategaon square in Phulambri on Thursday at 10.30 pm, killing the rider on the spot and injuring two others.

The deceased, Ankush Bhanudas Pawar (35) from Donwada, was traveling with Babasaheb Pawar (55) towards Vadod Bazar when a speeding car (MH-20-FU-3581) from Rajur crashed into their motorcycle (MH-20-BW-6781). Ankush Pawar died instantly, while Babasaheb Pawar and the car driver suffered injuries. Locals rushed them to a hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Ankush Pawar is survived by his wife, son, and father. Acting on a complaint from Kailas Bhanudas Pawar, police have registered a case against the car driver at Phulambri Police Station. Constable Ganesh Kale is investigating the case.
