A young farmer riding a motorcycle was killed on the spot after being hit by a speeding car. The accident occurred on Saturday around 4 pm at Chorwaghlgaon on the Vaijapur-Gangapur road.

The deceased has been identified as Amol Shinde (34, Bhagur, Vaijapur tehsil). Amol Shinde had gone to Vaijapur for work and was returning home when a speeding car (MH-15-GL-5147) coming from the opposite direction crashed into his motorcycle near Chorwaghlgaon. The impact was so severe that Shinde died instantly, with parts of his brain scattered on the road. Upon receiving the information, Vishal Alhat and Sushant rushed him to the Vaijapur Sub-District Hospital in an ambulance. After the post-mortem, his body was handed over to his family. Amol Shinde was the only breadwinner for his parents, leaving behind his mother, father, wife, and a son. His untimely death has left the family devastated.
