The state government has transferred D G Sarpate as the Assistant Director of Town Planning (ADTP) at Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on deputation, today. Meanwhile, Sarpate reached AMC today to take over his charge, but due to the absence of the administrator A K Pandey in his office, he could not do so.
Earlier, the state transferred the ADTP R S Mahajan. Hence, the post was lying vacant. In the meantime, the administrator handed over the additional charge of ADTP to section''s deputy engineer Jayant Kharwadkar, two days ago.
The transfer order of Sarpate is duly signed by the Director (Town Planning) V D Tadpe. It is hoped that Sarpate would be able to join only on Monday as the guardian minister Subhash Desai is on a two day''s tour and then two days holidays are following it.
