Aurangabad, Dec 15:

After 3 days of cloudy weather, the citizens again witnessed sunny skies on Tuesday. The clouds had led to an increase in the minimum temperature. But in a single day, the minimum temperature dropped by 2.3 degrees Celsius.

The last few days have seen sudden change in the climate. The weather in the city had been cloudy for 3 days in a row since Saturday. However the sky was clear on Tuesday. The minimum temperature at Chikalthana observatory was recorded at 16.6°C. With slow return of the winter chill, the city is experiencing fog and dew in the morning. This is due to the increase in humidity in the atmosphere due to the evaporation of water from the earth. Meteorologist Kirankumar Johare said that fog is being created due to an increase in humidity in the atmosphere. After December 20, the cold will increase rapidly.
